Kronshtadt tour

This tour will plunge you into the history of the Baltic fleet, building of the dam and the city. From the date of its foundation, the port city of Kronshtadt is playing a key role in Russian history. It was erected on the islands of the Gulf of Finland as a vanguard for St. Petersburg defense.

There is an interesting fact – the city was closed before and only in 1996 Russian citizens and foreigners got the opportunity to visit this site. During the excursion you will see a lot of interesting historic buildings and constructions such as Petrovski dock, depth gauge, Yakornaya square, The Naval cathedral of Saint Nicholas, monuments of Peter the Great and Russian naval commanders. Don’t forget to call your attention to the iron pavement in the city center!
